What have I been doing for the past.....5 months?!? Wow, time has flown by! Mainly, I was getting ready for my friend Corrie's wedding in Texas, but that was last Friday, so things should settle down now.
Here are (a few) pictures of my week in Texas:
The wedding favors-chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
Yummy!
The bride-to-be working on a chalkboard
She made chalkboard signs in lieu
of printing programs.
The menu cards for the reception
(I made them myself)
And I also made this: pictures of the happy couple
and paper hearts on twine and hanging across an old barn door.
The ceremony and reception were held in different parts of an old flour mill.
Cute and vintage-y!
The ceremony hall
A close-up of the alter area
Most of the bridesmaids hanging out Wednesday night.
The maid-of-honor (Corrie's sister Christen) working on school.
Trying to, actually.... We may or may
not have been a tad distracting.
A picture frame with all the bridesmaids' lips imprinted around it.
Wedding day breakfast-donuts!!
Holding hands on the way to get ready. She was (finally!!)
starting to get nervous. I have never seen a calmer bride....
Wedding party's table.
It's kind of hard to see, but one of the other bridesmaids burned
each of our names onto a hanger for us to keep as a memento.
Some of the bridesmaids' dresses and the bride's
The 'guestbook'-ink your thumb, place on a branch,
and sign underneath the imprint.
My hair - a half-crown braid with some yellow
flowers tucked in.
The bride and I
The bride and maid of honor.
I didn't get any more pictures until
the reception.
The bride and her brothers
First dance
Father/daughter dance
Her cake
His cake
Christen and I the day after, right before
I left for the airport to come home!
I wish I had a picture of all the bridal party together, We had so much much fun together, I thought someone would call for a reunion at some point! Enjoy the pictures and keep looking for a new post!
