Ju's Wedding

One of my best friends from childhood got married last month and she asked me to be a bridesmaid! We got to talking about how long our families have known each other and we honestly couldn't remember a time when we weren't seeing each other at least once a week (and then my family started attending the church Ju's dad pastored, so it turned into twice a week). Her now-husband, Estaban Maldonado, and his family live in Canada, so I really miss her! But anyway, here are some pictures I took of her special day!

Ju's uncle provided the chocolates and Estaban's uncle sent
little bags of coffee grown in Guatemala.

Ju's sister designed all the center pieces and decorations.

We all arrived at the church between 9-9:30 am to prepare for pictures.

Ju's sister, Jennie, was the Matron of Honor

The beautiful bride and her great-grandmother

The other bridesmaid, aka, the groom's sister Laura.

Cutting the main cake; there were 6!!!

One of our many mutual friends, 'Liya.

Instead of rice, we threw popcorn! Loads of fun and laughs
from the kids.

And they're off! God's hand was evident in the bringing about of the
wedding and I know He will continue to bless their married life together.

Didn't Jennie do a good job?! Ju told her what colors and flowers and Jennie took over. :D
