Just a thought I've had running through my head lately...

"You can't choose when change happens or even what the change will be. The only choice you CAN make is your response to the change."

As you may have guessed by the above thought, change came to my family a few months ago in the guise of attending a new church. This was a difficult transition for some members of my family because we had been attending the first church for almost 12 years. For most of my siblings, this was the only church they had ever attended.
I have to be honest, I didn't initially accept the change willingly at first. But after much prayer and talking with my parents, I decided that I trusted their reasons for attending a new church. And I'm so glad that I did! My closest sister and I no longer have our separate groups of friends, but one group of like-minded young men and women (Eowyn and her sisters among them). And while I still miss my friends from the old church, we still keep in touch and encourage each other in our walks with Christ.

Psalm 9:10

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
