This post is inspired by a conversation I had with one of my guy friends from church. Somehow we got to talking about people from work asking if I was dating anyone. He asked me what my response was and this is what I said: "I do not ever plan on dating. I am waiting for God to bring the right man along for me. Even then, we will not date-we will pursue a Godly relationship that will hopefully marrying, a relationship that will build each other up and strengthen our walks with God."
This friend responded that my response was very well put, but weren't the single years also for strengthening our walk with God? "Yes, they are," I replied. Well, he said, what about this response instead: I am in a relationship. I am in a relationship with my Best Friend. He loves me so much He died for me, so I could one day spend eternity with Him.
I would love to be married one day, but only if that is God's plan for me.
