Lessons

Last Thursday I sprained my right ankle carrying Kendal downstairs to our family room. I was laid up for the rest of the day and Friday. I was able to walk (more like Hobble) around the house on Saturday. By Sunday, I was walking better, but not well enough to do any of the activities that night at our Resurgence Christmas party; but I did get to be the photographer for the whole thing.

Anyway, I was laying on the couch Friday and started thinking about what I was able to do that, if I hadn't sprained my ankle, I wouldn't have wanted to do. Here's a short list: I was able to snuggle with Carter after lunch and give him some attention; I got to read books to the little boys and try to keep Noelle entertained for as long as possible.
All that to say: God showed me that I need to spend more time with my younger siblings and be more patient with them.

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
Katelyn

P.S. For a change, I have added two songs that have nothing to do with Christmas; can you find them?

That's so sweet!! (not you spraining your ankle, i'm sorry about that :( but you being able to spend some extra time with your siblings) I need to learn to be more patient with my siblings too! The songs are.....Yo Ho Hero, and The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything!! lol
