However, I did have time to attend Arwen's birthday party. She bought a Jane Austen-themed murder mystery game off Etsy and she asked 10 of us to be the characters. I was Elizabeth Bennett and my brother was Willoughby. I'll post a link to the blog once Eowyn does a post on it. She has WAY more pictures than I do. Here are the ones I got:
My brother Sam doing something for the party
The table! There were 20 of us sitting here and it was so much
fun talking and playing parts.
Party favors-bags of lavender for the ladies.
Feathers for the guys.
I know it's blurry, but this is the only picture I have of most of the
girls wearing their dresses. Eowyn, in the green
dress on the left, was Mrs. Bennett. The girl in the black dress
was Emma and the girl next to her was Marianne. The other two
weren't in the script, but decided to dress up anyway.
Meet Georgiana Darcy
My brother, Willoughby. He didn't know I snapped this picture.
We had fun at this party (I'm not sure the level of fun was completely legal). The characters had scripts with Q&A for each of the 4 rounds. Some people really got into their character. At the end when the murderer was revealed, Mr. Collins went crazy! I won't tell you who did it, in case you decide to buy the game yourself. *Note: Some editing will be required as there is some inappropriate content.
Have a great week and I'll see you next week during Celebrate Musicals Week!!

YAY! We had SUCH a blast. And you're totally right about the level of fun being illegal.
