This is one of those posts where I tell you what I think about the world around us. Enjoy; Actually, I'm just ranting and raving about how crazy our world is.

My family and I were watching 20 Century Fox's "Thumbelina" this weekend, and it hit me that all of the heroines are 16 when they fall in love. How crazy is that?! I think that this leaves younger girls with the thought that when you turn 16, everything is supposed to be perfect; you fall in love with the perfect guy and live happily after.

But it's not supposed to happen that way! We are told in Song of Solomon "not to awaken love until it so desires." The movies aimed at the younger generation say "Go ahead! Love is wonderful; Teenagers are supposed to fall in love and get married when they reach 'the magical age'."

What a bunch of baloney! I am so fed up with our movie companies and the junk they throw out at us!
