And I thought I needed to pay more attention to drivers behind me...
I was driving the family home from the Millers' pool this afternoon and was in the turning lane to pull into our neighborhood. While waiting for the traffic to clear up (4:00 pm is not a good time to go driving) another car pulled in front of me to turn as well. A car stopped and motioned for us to go. I waited a minute to see if the other car was going to turn; when they didn't, I did. That's when the other driver decided it was a good time to turn! I had to pull over to avoid a wreck- behind another car going the opposite direction. I was really nervous driving home; I kinda felt it was my fault. But I should have gone when the lady motioned the first time instead of waiting- that probably confused the other driver.

yeah HE was!! I was so nervous driving home...
I bet you were. One time I was driving home right after it had rained and I hit a puddle that was deeper than it looked and the tire lost its grip on the road so I had to grab the steering wheel really hard to keep control of the car. It scared me.
